Tab Light was born almost three years ago, and since then our dining and night life products have evolved not only into some of the hippest; but also some of the most helpful restaurant products worldwide. Tab Light’s family of products have recently been discovered by the major brands and advertising agencies as an untapped, extremely effective out of home advertising platform.
Tab Light’s flagship product, the illuminated guest check presenter, was invented because our CEO, dining at an exclusive candlelight restaurant, realized that this night; as many nights before he had extreme difficulty in seeing his bill, calculating the tip and signing his name. A great five star experience ended with slight and sight frustration! At that moment, “a light bulb went off in his head” literally, and he took “pen to paper” and chose to design what would become the illuminated guest check presenter—Tab Light!
CEO and inventor Dr. Howard Cohan boarded a flight from Ft. Lauderdale International Airport bound for China. After visiting close to twenty different factories, identifying the individual elements necessary to create Tab Light, the first prototype was actually manufactured by 13 factories working together. Today, Tab Light’s critically acclaimed illuminated guest check presenters still requires the team work of our crew here in the United States and three factories in Mainland China. Tab Light now has three innovative products, each with it’s own panache. Tab Light’s popularity as a tool for the guests of dining and night life establishments to see their bill with ease has organically grown over time. Up until now, very little marketing, other than attending National Restaurant Association Shows, has been implemented. Tab Light’s team of Hospitality and Marketing specialists has driven this company into a new and exciting direction.
